FOR KIDS GRADES 3 to 5

Join us for one hour of space-inspired fun, this THURSDAY evening, June 5, 2014 in the Luxmanor all-purpose room.

You'll get to meet a NASA engineer AND do a hands-on activity involving paper rockets! We'll also use this occasion to introduce The Great Adventure Lab's hand-built, battery-powered hovercraft!

Speaker: Eric Lyness, NASA Engineer, space flight missions including Curiosity Mars Rover and MOMA, which launches in 2017. MOMA stands for Mars Organic Molecule Analyzer ... which will be looking for signs if life ever existed on Mars!

Format:

15-20 minute presentation, followed by hands-on activity.

Cost is $12 per adult/child pair. This is not a drop-off activity.

Note: event is FREE for students in our current Space Engineers class at Luxmanor. We will email you a discount code directly. However, we still you need you to register!
